I’m an artist and illustrator inspired by the landscape of the UK, and the nature and wildlife that surrounds me. Originally from Suffolk, I’m now based in the Surrey countryside where I work from my home studio.
Through my paintings I try to convey the wonder and beauty of the natural world, and the sense of peace I feel when I’m walking in the hills or amongst the trees in the forest. I work mainly in watercolour, gouache and acrylic, but I also enjoy experimenting with mixed media, particularly in my sketchbooks.
In the past, my art has illustrated book covers and magazine articles, but a couple of years ago I made the decision to concentrate almost entirely on my personal work. My paintings are now in private collections around the world, and I release new originals and prints every few months. Since the end of 2021, I have been sharing an in-depth look at my art process, sketchbooks, materials and inspirations on the monthly membership platform Patreon. During that time, we’ve grown into a thriving and supportive community of artists and art lovers, and I’ve realised just how much I enjoy sharing all aspects of my practice!
